The SLR is the iconic collaboration of Mercedes-Benz and McLaren that was inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300SL in 1955. This Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a 490-actual-mile supercar featuring its original Window Sticker. It sports a 5.4-liter V8 AMG supercharged engine producing 617hp and 580 ft/lbs of torque, with Lusholm-type twin-screw superchargers that produce 13 psi of boost. Power is transferred using the AMG Speedshift R 5-speed automatic with three manual modes. MotorTrend tested the SLR in 2006 and achieved 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 208 mph. The entire body is carbon fiber with a front mid-engine mounted design. It’s finished Crystal Galaxite Black with the optional Silver Arrow Leather 300SL red interior.
