Presenting 'Nu-Street.' This magnificent 2006 Ford F-150 Mickey Thompson pickup was built by Sin City Kustomz in Las Vegas for the Mickey Thompson Performance Wheel and Tire Company who owned it and promoted it. It was sponsored by over 30 well known companies and only has 7,275 original miles. Mickey Thompson is a legend in the automotive world and the plan was to build a truck that would reflect him and his famous tire company. The concept was basic: build a clean, low-riding performance
machine that looked every bit as Street Rod as it did sport truck. One shop was recruited to pull off this admirable task, Sin City Kustomz in Las Vegas. The build would be sponsored by over 30 well known companies who wanted to pay tribute to such an important automotive icon. No expense would be spared on this high quality build. The exterior has been completely customized including the hood, grille, mirrors, bumpers, side moldings, tailgate, tonneau cover, bed liner and lights. The body was painted in stunning Dupont Hot Hues Candy Apple Red, black and sliver with custom airbrushing. M/T was airbrushed on the hood and tire tread on the silver. The grille was designed to look like tire tread as well. The truck was lowered and sits on Mickey Thompson massive HR-1 polished wheels that are 18x8 on the front and 20x16 on the rear. The exterior is complimented with a slightly custom gray leather interior. Some features include tire tread inserts in the seats and on the dash, DVD player, navigation, back up camera, Auto Meter gauges, beverage cooler and keyless remote entry with alarm system. The dash was signed by well known Jack Roush. The original 5.4 Liter V8 has a Roush supercharger pushing 8psi of atmosphere into the three valve V8. The engine runs excellent and sounds amazing through the Magnaflow side exhaust system. The rear bed was fabricated to fit the massive wheels and an electric piece of the floor rises to display the rear end craftsmanship. The front suspension was upgraded to an Air Ride Technologies Level Pro kit with DJM lower control arms. The rear suspension was upgraded with a Chris Alston Chassisworks back half 4-link kit with Air Ride Technologies struts. It has a Fab 9 rear end with shortened Strange axles and US Gear 4.56 gears bolted to a Detroit Locker. A custom stainless fuel cell was added. SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes were added at all four corners for great stopping power. The build sheet goes on and on. This truck was featured in Truckin magazine and is currently featured on Mickey Thompson's Performance Wheels and Tires website.
