2003 CHEVROLET CORVETTE AVELATE CONVERTIBLE

This rare 2003, number 1 of only 2, Avelate Corvette convertible pays homage to the very first model year 1953 Corvette. After 50 years of Corvette styling, the Avelate Automotive Co., who is known for other rare cars, built this 2003 Commemorative Edition to pay tribute to the Corvette legacy. Using 2003 Corvette cutting edge technology, Avelate masterfully crafted some subtle but distinctive '53 cues into a new 2003 Anniversary Corvette chassis and drivetrain. The paint is white with traces of

flakes to commemorate the 50th Anniversary. It has red leather interior as it did in 1953. Large round exposed headlamps and tooth grille give some of that distinctive '53 styling, along with round rear tail lights and trunk lid. The drivetrain is an unchanged 2003 Corvette 350cid/350hp with 6-speed manual transmission. The wheels are custom built by Billet Wheel Company. With less than 10,500 original miles, it also has a Bose stereo with CD changer and a white top. In addition, it has the 2003 General Motors Corvette Window Sticker and VIN. After completing, Avelate Automotive presented both cars with a serial numbered Certificate of Authenticity from its factory. It also comes with its last owner documentation, plus all factory paperwork and literature when the car was purchased from GM to complete this outstanding styling makeover. This scarce piece of Corvette history would be an excellent and very rare addition to anyone's collection.
