This 2001 #8 Budweiser road course race car was purpose-built by DEI. A Winston Cup NASCAR vehicle driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2001 for Sonoma. The road course race car has a SB2 750+hp engine, G-force road course transmission and 9' rear end. This chassis #012 was purchased directly from DEI in 2002.
