Details
Purchased from the Seattle Fire Department, fire engine 007 underwent a transformation to become 'Mini Big Rig'. The body of the Kenworth was removed and placed onto a 2000 Chevy 1-ton frame and running gear. The engine is a big block 454 with a 4-speed automatic transmission. A custom flatbed was fabricated along with functioning dual exhaust and air cleaners. The seats are air ride and adjustable as are the original air powered wipers. This truly unique rig is one-of-a-kind and is aesthetically correct with its head ache rack, Alcoa aluminum wheels, battery box side steps and cab mounted spot lights. If needed the Mini Big Rig is more than capable of hauling a heavy load on its flatbed with plenty of storage for straps in the side mounted cargo boxes or hooking onto a trailer with its class five trailer hitch.
