This '98 Firehawk Trans Am prototype is one of only six such Trans Ams made; none were ever available to the public. Still present are the SLP upgrades that later became production options. The SLP upgrades include 17' factory chrome wheels, Auburn heavy-duty rear end, Bilstein shocks and springs, exclusive large-mouth exhaust, Firehawk decals and badging. It has 43,000 original miles, 100-percent original paint and a very clean interior. It even has the original Firestone Firehawk SLP tires.
Also included is a letter from the president of SLP, Ed Hamburger, and the book 'Firehawk, Fiercest of the Firebirds' signed by author, Mac Logan; there were only 1,000 copies published in 2013.
