Details
A total of 1,000 Grand Sport Corvettes were produced. 810 were coupes and 190 were convertibles. This vehicle, VIN #997, is the final Grand Sport convertible produced, as documented in the Grand Sport Registry. It came with the high-performance LT4 V8 engine, producing 330hp and 340 ft/lbs of torque. The GS came only in Admiral Blue with a white stripe down the middle. Two red hash marks on the driver's side front wheel arch, 5-spoke black wheels and special seat trim provide a distinctive look.
The Grand Sport came with wider Goodyear F1 tires. This car comes complete with all original paperwork, including Window Sticker, owner's manual and two sets of original keys with remote fob. This car is completely original, except for replacement battery. The car was never hit, painted or taken out in inclement weather. In like-new condition, it has 950 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt). 6-speed manual transmission.
