Details
This is the 1989 Al Unser Jr. Lola T8900 which finished second in the 1989 Indianapolis 500 after having been touched by Emerson Fittipaldi while both cars were leading the field by six laps to the finish! No one can forget Little Al's thumbs up as Emmo went by on the last lap of what is thought by many to be one of the top five most exciting finishes at the Indy 500. The car was restored by team manager Owen Snyder to Speedway trim and is accurate to the last detail, including the original Chevy-Ilmor A engine. This car has a very special one race history. Included with the car are: 1989-1990 Cart Year Book, 1989 Indianapolis 500 Year Book, 1989 Indianapolis 500 Official Program, 1989 Valvoline Media Guide, 1989 Galles Racing Media Guide, 1989 Indy 500 Video Series, 1989 team Valvoline Pin and the driving suit worn by Little Al. This car runs and drives and has been cosmeticly restored, but it does not meet race track specifications and is for display only. ****SOLD ON BILL OF SALE ONLY****
