This German built truck is a left-hand-drive Doka model bodied by Lentner, the internationally known German firefighting and equipment company, with pumping equipment from Ziegler. The Deutz is backed by a heavy-duty ZF 5-speed manual transmission with a 7.65 to 1 first gear. Behind that is a divorced Getrag transfer case with high-low gears. The axles are 7-ton models with center and rear locks. The truck is a permanent 4x4. It also features a hydraulic lift system to raise the engine cover exposing both the engine and drivetrain.
