Details
The GNX was the ultimate American car in the eighties. The Turbocharged, intercooled V6 was rated at 276hp and 360ft/lbs of torque. Many changes to cope with the power and torque were made to the drivetrain and chassis including a specially programmed 200R4 Hydramatic transmission, special differential, rear axle Panhard bar and torque-resisting ladder bar. Buick advertised the GNX as the fasted accelerating production car in the world at the time it was released. The cars are breathtakingly, blindingly fast. Yet, because of the adaptability of their Turbocharged engines they are great, comfortable, well-mannered drivers around town and in traffic. Originally from the Reggie Jackson collection. It is all original, with just 5,480 actual miles from new and is number 12 of the 547 built. Like all GNX's it's loaded, including air conditioning, cassette stereo, power windows, power locks, power steering and brakes.
