1981 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ45 CUSTOM TROOP CARRIER

This FJ’s transformation from stock into a handcrafted custom Land Cruiser began with an authentic FJ45 Troop Carrier (Troopy) imported from South America. It has been fitted with a new Aqualu all-aluminum body, full custom roll cage, and custom-fabricated front and rear bumpers for rugged protection. The body is finished in PPG Antique Blue with PPG En-V clear coat. This Troopy is powered by a Chevrolet 350ci small-block V8 engine and a 700R 4-speed automatic transmission. It’s equipped with MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection, MSD multi-spark ignition and a K&N air filter. Mated tube headers connect to a custom-built dual exhaust for maximum flow and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator handles engine cooling. Power is channeled through Strange 9” members in front and rear Ford housings with Dana 44 hubs, axles and spindles. The body sits on adjustable JRI coilover shocks and a custom 4-link suspension with power steering and Wilwood power disc brakes. With seating for 10 people, utility and luxury come together in the cabin with a full removable German canvas top and side and rear windows. The interior features deep leather cushioned bucket front seats with a center console while rear, side-positioned seats allow for 8 passengers in the back. The interior also features a tilt steering column with Billet Specialties steering wheel, Classic Instruments Moal Bomber gauges and Vintage Air. This Land Cruiser rolls on body-color-keyed American Racing Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain T/A tires with a matching spare. It has a stainless-steel fuel tank and a WARN 10,000-pound roller fairlead winch that sits on the front bumper. **TITLED AS A 0000 SPCNS**
