Here we have a 10th anniversary Trans Am. GM only made 7,500 of these limited edition cars and only 1,817 4-speed cars, which makes this car really desirable. These cars came fully loaded with every option available and a lot of special equipment like silver leather interior with red embroidered eagles, special hi pile grey carpet and even a distinct dash that lights up red at night. On the exterior is a distinctive 2-tone paint with limited edition logos, a tri-color bird whos wings go over

onto the fenders and special mirrored T-tops. The only option you could choose was 4-speed or automatic. This car was bought brand new in Nebraska and shipped to the original owner in California. The 4-speed cars had 400 Pontiac engines which couldn't meet the emissions standards in California, so if you wanted one you had to go to a different state. The car has only 32,000 documented original miles. This car just has had just one show quality repaint and correct new decals applied. There is a complete photo album of the car getting its new paint. This car has never had any rust and has all its original body panels. Under the hood we have the last of the big cubic inch engines, the Pontiac 400. This is the matching numbers engine and its mated to its original Borg Warner 4-speed transmission. This car had 220hp, which for '79 made it one of the most powerful cars of its time. The car runs and drives great. It has four brand new BFGoodrich tires mounted on the original wheels. The interior of this car still sports its original door panels, seat covers and carpet. The dash and console are beautiful. The factory AM/FM stereo with 8-track is still in the dash and when you turn it on the power antenna in the drivers fender goes up. All the power options work. The air conditioning was recharged using some hard to find R-12 refrigerent.
