1977 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM CUSTOM COUPE

This car received a rotisserie restoration. The bottom of the car was painted the factory red oxide primer color. Subframe was powder-coated satin black. Hotchkiss sport suspension was used with drop springs up front and drop leaves in the back. Wilwood 4-piston brake calipers and drilled/slotted rotors. Tubular upper and lower arms, oversized sway bars, MOOG joints and new shocks with a quick-ratio steering box were used to control the cornering and stability. The engine is a crate LS3 with mid-length headers with 2.5-inch stainless exhaust for noise control. New fuel tank and lines with regulator, as well as the engine accessory brackets and 4-row aluminum radiator. The transmission is a rebuilt 4L60 automatic. The body was repainted and the right door received a new skin due to rust. The front bumper was replaced and all brackets that hold that bumper were powder-coated flat black with the subframe and wheel wells. With using the Vintage Air, smoothing the firewall was achieved. With the body painted, the windshield was replaced, along with the back window and all weatherstripping. Blacked-out trim around the glass and rain gutters. The Painless wiring harness was used and wires hidden for a cleaner appearance. The interior was recovered with a recover kit and was kept factory. The gauges were replaced with Dakota Digital gauges, which are integrated into the engine and main harness. Wilwood power disc brakes with 4-piston calipers all around using a Wilwood master cylinder and prop valve. Hotchkis sport suspension with dropped-leaf springs in the rear and dropped coil springs in the front with tubular upper and lower control arms, front/rear sway bars and all new shocks.
