This street strip Camaro has been transformed into an all-out street, strip or show car. An amazing amount of detailed labor at no cost spared has gone into the transformation of this high powered machine. Powered by a 355cid Chevrolet racing engine featuring dealer purchased only GM '292' Turbo cylinder heads with 2.02 intake valves, solid lift cam, roller rockers, Holley intake and 850cfm carburetor, Hooker headers with racing mufflers, Accel distributor and MSD ignition. Chassis is a back half with 2'x3' frame rails, narrowed and braced 9' Ford rear end, Summers Brother racing axles, coil over shocks, AM adjustable ladder bars, diagonal track locator and 4-wheel disc brakes. The custom interior features all beautifully hand-crafted aluminum tin work, 10-point cage with swing out bars, Autometer gauges and turbo action shifter. The rear wheel wells were stretched to accommodate the Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro rear tires. The cowl hood, deck lid and front bumper are all lightweight fiberglass, while the rest of the body remains steel. Other features include polished centerline racing wheels, rear wing with support struts, rear fuel cell, dual battery mounts, cut-off switch, Holley electric fuel pump with Fram filter and ballast bars in the rear.
