Details
Painted in House of Kolors Kandy Yellow Pearl metal flake inside and out, this 1973 Thing has undergone a complete ground-up restoration. Each part on this vehicle was replaced or restored to like new during the restoration. The engine, which is a newly-built 1641cc motor, has also been color matched to the body paint color. A Jarek performance header system was installed with dual exhaust and gives added horsepower and performance, and sounds amazing while cruising. Also included in the
restoration are new black vinyl seats and a new convertible top with a custom-made boot cover. The front trunk compartment, the cargo area and the interior have all been custom-carpeted, along with the well-known teakwood floor boards. Included in the front trunk is the very rare factory option recirculating German gas heater. The front and rear bumpers are custom, one-off designed and built for this vehicle. New 15' wheels, polished and black BRM wheels with brand-new tires, were also included in this custom restoration.
