Description
This 1973 Brazilian custom-built 23-window VW bus has been converted to a Samba model. It is finished in Aqua Green complemented by a tan interior. The bus is powered by a matching-numbers 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and features a 12-volt electrical system. A meticulous ground-up restoration was completed in September 2018. It was stripped to bare metal and fully sandblasted prior to paint application. All-new upholstery, screws and electrics were installed, including new seals. It has just 500 kilometers on the odometer since its restoration.
This custom 23-window Samba bus was the beneficiary of a meticulous restoration to period-correct specifications. It’s powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
