Details
This custom convertible started out as a F Coded 302cid with C4 automatic. It was involved in a flood and has been totally disassembled and rebuilt since. It bears a 'Reconstructed' Massachusetts title which means that the car was rebuilt after having prior flood damage. Every component that might have been affected by its prior condition was removed and discarded. All sheet metal was brought down to bare metal. photo documentation of the car's disassembly and reassembly is available. No expense was spared in this total and complete rebuild and many upgrades were made to make this car an outstanding example of the year. It has entered several regional, judged, Mustang-only (MCA Club) shows and won trophies at all of them. It has won awards at every show it has entered, totaling nearly 40 awards. These include a second place finish for 'Custom Convertibles' at the Boston World of Wheels show in January of 2008 and multiple Best in Shows at other events. Major build specs include date code correct, modified 351-4V Cobra Jet motor, functional Ram Air, C6 transmission, B&M shift kit, Trans Pak Kit and 1900 RPM torque converter, TCI cast aluminum finned extra capacity pan, Hurst V-Matic 2 shifter with custom fabricated base mount, Hooker Competition series ceramic coated headers, stainless steel dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, Ford Racing aluminum under drive pulleys, poly bushings throughout, SS brake lines, SS fuel lines, NOS engine bay electrical harness, front seats are from a 2002 Mustang and custom upholstered, custom interior door inserts, Toyo Proxes T1R 245/45/17 tires, LED sequential tail lights and custom center console with cup holders.
