1973 CHEVROLET CAMARO CUSTOM COUPE 'PROJECT ENVIOUS'

Known as 'Project Envious,' this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro was built by Randy Johnson at D&Z Customs. This no-expense-spared custom build is powered by a Wegner-built 427ci LS7 V8 engine paired with a TREMEC T56 6-speed manual transmission. This combination generates 680hp with 570 ft/lbs of torque. It features Wiseco pistons, Callies rods and crank, COMP pushrods, roller lifters, custom cam, RHS LS7 heads, Dailey dry sump, FAST 102mm intake and injectors, and a C&R oil cooler and radiator. Rounding out this custom build is a Centerforce twin-disc clutch, Dynotech 3.5-inch steel driveshaft and Yukon heavy-duty aluminum 9-inch-style rear end with 3.89 gears. It is riding on Heidts cantilever suspension and RideTech triple-adjustable coilover shocks and has Forgeline DE3C wheels with a center lock conversion kit. The PPG Citrus Green Metallic exterior features custom front and rear spoilers, a custom carbon vented hood, LED daytime running lights and a custom exhaust. It is complemented by a custom black interior that features a custom digital AutoMeter LCD dash, a Vintage Air system, Sparco seats and steering wheel, 5-point harness belts, RideTech Tiger Cage Plus and an MTX sound system. 'Project Envious' was featured by AutoMeter, Camaro Performance and Heidts, along with appearances in Hot Rodding magazine.
