This model was originally introduced in 1967. The Toyota was Japan's answer to the Jeep Grand Wagoner. The FJ55 is considered the full-size version of the legendary FJ40. Because of the larger size and four doors, it became a popular utility vehicle for the entire family. Production of the FJ55 Land Cruiser ended in 1980, with only a 13-year production, making them very rare today. started with a California-Arizona rust-free truck. Every nut and bolt has been apart and all body panels have been refinished and painted to very high standards in the original two-tone Smurf Blue and Alpine White. The truck is powered by a 3.9-liter, 125hp straight 6-cylinder engine with a floor-shift 3-speed transmission, 4-wheel drive and front lock-out hubs. The refinished interior features front and rear bench seats with seatbelts and optioned radio, heater and air conditioning.
