A real and rare numbers matching 1972 GMC Sprint including a very rare factory vinyl top. This example is equipped with its original factory 350/250hp small block mated to the original automatic transmission. A complete frame-up restoration including a high quality rebuild of the engine, carburetor, transmission, driveshaft, power steering system, fuel pump, water pump, clutch fan, motor mounts, air conditioning system, cooling system, interior, brake system, front and rear suspension, body,
paint, trim including chrome and stainless, exhaust and new tires was completed in 2009 that is documented with photos included with the sale. The GMC Sprint was produced between 1971 and 1977 as a little known variant of the Chevy El Camino. This example is a great driver, a popular cruise night and cars and coffee vehicle and can be used for Saturday morning runs to the hardware store or nursery.
