1972 FORD BRONCO CUSTOM SUV

This frame-off-restored 1972 Bronco 4x4 was fitted with a Coyote 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine and a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission. This setup is coupled to a Dana 20 transfer case with custom double Cardin drivelines, a Dana 44 up front and a 9-inch Eaton locker posi-traction rear end. The Hydro-Boost 4-wheel disc brakes system provides for adequate stopping power. The suspension, provided by James Duff Industries, is a 2-inch body lift and a 5.5-inch double-shocked progressive suspension lift. This Bronco rides on 20x9 Fuel wheels covered in uncle Coopers 37-inch Discovery STT tires. It began as an excellent candidate for restoration; virtually rust-free and straight. A new ventless hood and front fenders were added, and subtle changes were made to the engine bay for the placement of the Coyote engine, along with a transmission tunnel for the 6R80, reinforced fenders and quarter openings. This solid truck was covered in BASF Diamont base coat Ceramic Gray paint and DC92 Lifetime clear coat. While a relatively stock interior is present, the German square-weave carpet sets the pace. A Pioneer Bluetooth-capable 5-channel stereo was installed with surround speaker pods located in the 6-point roll cage. The roll cage is padded and covered in Sunbrell. There is a removable Alderwood Palapa to provide shade when the top is down. A Vintage Air heat and air conditioning system has been added to help control the temperature. The interior color is Satin Black, and the seats are black Mellohide with a warm, yet masculine plaid by Ralph Lauren. There is a Dakota Digital speed and gauge cluster in the dash as well as an Ididit tilt steering column and wheel. There are six handles placed throughout the roll cage and seat belts for safety. Electric steps by Amp will help with getting in and out and are completely hidden from sight when stowed. The front bumper is fabricated to mount an LED light bar as well as a high-lift jack, while the rear color-matched bumper is equipped with a spare tire and 4-way lug wrench for easy tire changing. And lastly, the Bronco sports a Bestop Supertop with quick removal and tinted side panels.
