This incredible custom short-bed pickup has photos documenting the build and restoration. A total of 1,000 man-hours spent to build it. The body was stripped to bare metal, customized, and professionally prepped and painted. This hot rod pickup received significant modifications to blend an iconic pickup design with modern flair. With 67,116 original miles, it retains the original 1972 Chevrolet half-ton cab, fenders and frame. The bed has been replaced and modified. The cab and bed were joined

together for a custom style. The door handles were shaved and the driver's-side handle was replaced with a flush-mount handle. It features a custom-built, one-off front grille with roll pan, hood and lighting inspired by the 1999-2006 Silverado. The headlights are aftermarket, bolt-ins from a 1999-2006 Silverado. The lower directional lights are stock with tint. The 1972 hood was modified to blend with the modern front grille. The body mods are 100% hand-built and all-steel. It also features a floating tailgate and reclaimed barn-wood bed with a brand-new custom tonneau cover. It also has a rear roll pan, as well as LED front and rear lights. It's powered by a rebuilt 350ci motor with chrome dress-up kit, custom air cleaner and radiator cover. It has a nice cam rumble. Other equipment includes the TH350 automatic transmission, front disc brakes and rebuilt 12-bolt rear end. The custom dual exhaust and headers include tailpipes integrated into the lower bed sides - a super trick look that sounds awesome. The power steering system was just rebuilt with new pump, gearbox and hoses. It rides on white-steel wheels with 8' moons for an old-school hot rod look. It also has custom pinstriping in all the right places.
