Details

This 1971 Cougar convertible was a Texas car and has undergone a partial restoration consisting of an engine and transmission rebuild, as well as an interior restoration 25 years ago consisting of new seat covers, carpet, convertible top and replacement of the console. It was repainted in 1990 and again in 2010. Both bumpers were rechromed in 2010. The tires are in good condition. The engine was replaced in 2016 with a rebuilt 351ci Cleveland 8-cylinder engine with a 4-barrel carburetor and

intake manifold, backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is solid and drives well.
