This Eriba Puck is the perfect accessory to the vintage VW. Eriba is a German company that has been making these trailers since the 1950s and still makes RV's for the European market today. The Puck is the smallest model in their lineup. Built with air-cooled VW's in mind, the Eriba Puck is lightweight, stylish and fully functional. The trailer weighs approximately 800lbs with a tounge weight of approximately 50lbs. It is constructed with a tubular steel frame, aluminum outer skins and a fiberglass pop-top. The compact, yet comfortable layout can seat four at the table, has ample storage space under the seats, a small closet and additional cabinet space. This particular trailer is a 1971, second owner, California vehicle that has been well cared for and always stored inside. This fine specimen comes with all original features including light fixtures, working two burner stove and ice box. All woodwork was faithfully reproduced using the originals as patterns. All interior fabrics were replaced with new and match the classic Como Green and Phosphor of the accompanying VW Bus. Electricity comes from on-board battery or 110-volt. All electrical works great. Restored in 2007, the exterior was painted in original VW colors of Turkis and Blauweiss. All new window and door rubber installed as well as 10' white wall tires. All polished aluminum trim, exterior trailer lights and reflectors are present. Also included in this fantastic package is a fully restored Schwinn Twinn tandem bicycle with custom side mounted bike rack. A complete set of period Coleman camping gear including three coolers, a kerosene stove and lantern, and a folding camping table are included. The entire package was carefully assembled and is a rolling collection of mid 1960s leisure accessories sure to bring back fond memories as well as create new ones. **SOLD AS A PAIR WITH LOT 1231.2**
