Here is a rare and unique Shelby GT500. Upon delivery the first owner installed a 427 Tunnel Port engine. The car has been a drag racer all of its life. Documented in the Shelby Registry. Photograph on the front cover of the 1987 Registry Book jacket. This car was also featured on the front cover of Super Ford 1987 August issue. The article inside is titled 'Born to be Wild,' by Dr. John Craft. The car was sold new at Johnny Bolton Ford in Central Florida, where it remained its entire life. 7,232 original miles and mostly original paint.
