Details

GTO features fresh rotisserie, frame-off, every nut and bolt restoration. It features numerous body mods, including shaved mirrors smoothed rockers, smoothed rear deck, mini tub featuring stock appearing wheel houses, smoothed fire wall, exact fit panel gaps, beautiful PPG jet black paint with custom phantom judge graphics done with pearls. Frame mods include smoothed frame with filled holes, narrowed rear frame, and powder coated metallic galaxy grey chassis. Front suspension mods include Global West tubular lower a-frames, Global West upper a-frames, both of which are powder coated, (the Global West components are corrected for negative camber.) Custom drop spindles from Baer racing, Baer Racing brakes including 13 inch drilled and slotted rotors, powder coated calipers, billet aluminum hubs, Baer master cylinder and proportioning valve. The car is sprung with aluminum threaded body coil over shocks and springs from QA1. All front end components are new and painted, polished or powder coated. The car has Baer Racing tie rod ends to correct toe and an AGR quick ratio power steering box. The rear suspension uses a custom Chris Alston Fab 9 rear end filled with Richmond gears 3.50 ratio and locker along with royal purple synthetic fluids. The rear end holds Strang 31 spline forged axles and 13 inch Baer brakes. Aluminum threaded body coil over shocks and spring from QA1 hold up the rear of the car while traction and handling are controlled by billet aluminum upper and lower control arms from Metco Motorsports, polyurethane bushings, and 1-1/8 sway bar front and 1 inch rear. The fuel cell is a polished stainless tank from Ricks with internal electric fuel pump and baffles. Steering column is a stainless column from Flaming River with a billet steering wheel from Billet Specialties featuring a billet back with a leather half rap front, custom leather interior, Vintage Air, and an extreme MTX custom designed audio system. The motor and tranny are out of a 2005 GTO with an all aluminum LS@ that has been modified to produce nearly 500 hp and a T56 6-speed manual. The motor is all detailed and painted to match the car accented with chrome alternator, air conditioner, air cleaner, Jet coated headers with x cross over pipe, Flow Master mufflers, 3 inch pipes, and steel braided lines threw out. The T6 has been smoothed, polished and clear coated. The wheels are billet from Intro and are a special one-off size for the rear. (18x9 front and 19x12 rear). The tires are Michelin pilots front and rear 275/35/18 and 345/30/19 respectfully. TITLE IN TRANSIT
