Hammer made its world wide debut at the Mopar Performance booth at SEMA, and on TLC's hit television show 'RIDES.' Hammer was seen in Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding used in movie as Vin Diesel's comeback ride in the final moments of The Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Hammer was placed in the next installment of Fast and Furious 4. To help celebrate it's redesigned HEMI, Mopar Performance commissioned Ray Barton Racing Engines to build the all aluminum 526 HEMI to be crammed into Hammer's engine bay. Mopar Muscle Magazine was given the inside scoop and presented a full feature and placed Hammer on the cover of the July 2009 issue. Hammer returned to the SEMA show in 2008 with Mopar Performance. After much anticipation GMP, manufacturers of high quality limited edition die cast vehicles, produced a 18th scale die cast replica of Hammer and appeared at many SEMA Shows. Hammer was built by Steve Strope of Pure Vision Design of Simi Valley, CA.
