Details
This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was stripped to bare metal and new quarter-panels were installed. Frame connectors were added, and the entire car was rotisserie-painted Rally Red. The interior was refurbished by updating the door panels, dash and headliner. There is Dynamat installed under the floor carpets. The Rally dash was completely refurbished, along with the factory gauges. Power windows were added with an all-factory wiring, motor regulators and switches. An air conditioning dash was added
along with factory evaporator. It is equipped with power steering and power brakes. Under the hood lies a 528ci V8 Mopar Performance crate engine with original 1970 valve covers, 1970 carburetors, cast-iron exhaust manifolds and factory exhaust. The transmission is a TREMEC manual with a pistol-grip shifter. The rear axle is a 3.55 ratio 8.75-inch Chrysler production unit with a limited-slip differential. The Shaker hood is a Gene Gregory reproduction, and the Shaker bonnet is an original from 1970. This car was built to cruise the highway in comfort.
