This particular Oldsmobile 442 convertible has been the recipient of a meticulous concours nut and bolt restoration. It has spent its recent restored life in a museum and private collection and there have been very few miles driven since being frame-off restored. It has it's original matching numbers motor, transmission and rear differential and is finished in the stunning combination of Matador Red with White Pearl buckets seats, white stripes and convertible top. powerful power plant available, the very rare optional W30 455cid high performance V8 with a 3-speed HD turbo-hydromatic 400 transmission and posi-traction rear end. Besides the most powerful drivetrain option, this convertible also has a very impressive list of factory options that include air conditioning, strato-bucket seats with dual-gate floor console shifter, electric power windows, power and tilt steering, front disc brakes, posi-traction rear differential, Goodyear raised white letter tires on Rally wheels, heavy duty front/rear firm ride springs, instrument gauge package with tach, AM/FM stereo, power top and much more. Impeccable iron clad provenance includes the original owner maintenance records, owner's manual, consumer guide, Protect-O-Plate, dealership and ownership history with notarized letters, owner registration cards and the original Build Card.
