Details
Documented W30 4-speed convertible, one of 96 produced. Very original car except for period correct, original 1970 W30 donor engine. Car underwent a highly extensive 4-year nut and bolt restoration. The frame was blasted and painted with the correct GM frame paint and the remainder of suspension and brake parts were rebuilt, powder coated and plated. The drivetrain was professionally rebuilt including the 3.91 ratio 12-bolt rear end and M-21 4-speed. The shifter was rebuilt and replated at Hurst
Industries. The engine was rebuilt at a highly respected speed shop with factory original parts and broken in on the dyno where it produced the factory specified 370hp and 500 ft/lb of torque. Bodywork consisted of new GM quarter panels installed per factory spec. with a spot weld seam gun. Front fenders are 1970 versions without 'crush' dimples. Fantastic paint is factory-correct 28 Twilight Blue complemented by white stripes and a white top. Interior is salt and pepper two tone blue as delivered from the factory. This car has bucket seats with factory delete console, power windows, power steering AM/FM stereo, correct date code tinted glass, power trunk and power top. All brightwork and trim is either refurbished original or NOS.
