Presenting a beautiful example of a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible that has gone through a complete restoration. It retains its original color, engine, transmission and power windows and trunk option. As the trim tag indicates this 442 was built the third week of March in 1970 at the assembly plant in Linden, NJ. It spent its first few years in New York and was transferred to Tempe, AZ by Helen Piosenka in 1973. It then spent the next 19 years in the dry climate. In 1992 it was sold to Brian

Dose who lived in Shakopee, MN. A copy of the title proving this is included with the car. Brian decided to then do a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. The car was extremely solid and only the front fenders had to be replaced. Photos of the restoration are also included with the car. All the remaining sheet metal is original to the car. The entire car got tank dipped and stripped to bare metal. It was painted in its born with color of Matador Red with black hood stripes as the trim tag indicates. Everything on the exterior was replaced or restored. Brian decided to go with a white vinyl top and added some white to the interior. The trim tag indicates the top was originally black, so it was recently changed back. The wheels were also painted and added to the car at the time of the restoration. Although the interior was black, it has been left black and white. The interior is in beautiful condition and really compliments the exterior. It has power windows and a power trunk release as the trim tag indicates. Everything in the interior has also been replaced or restored. The engine compartment has recently been refreshed and is nicely detailed. It has the original engine, transmission and rear end which were all rebuilt at the time of the restoration. The car was sold in 1997 to Mark DeGennaro who lived in Albany, NY. The car has been in New York ever since. The car has only been driven 4,125 miles since the restoration and shows great. It runs and drives excellent.
