This 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is powered by a Boss 302ci V8 engine mated to a close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. Its rotisserie restoration was completed in 2012 with just 160 test miles since. This Cougar won First Place at the Carlisle Ford Nationals in 2012 and special recognition as one of 50 'Nifty Fifty” cars chosen. This Cougar was on the cover of the November 2012 issue of Hemming’s Muscle Machines and is one of 323 built. It includes a Marti Report and its original factory invoice.
