1970 GMC 2500 CUSTOM PICKUP

This custom 1970 GMC K2500 is a 3/4-ton 4x4 pickup that underwent a crew-cab conversion and frame-off refurbishment. It is equipped with Sierra Grande trim and is powered by a 350ci V8 engine topped with a factory air cleaner housing and features an Edelbrock carburetor, intake manifold and fuel pump. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. Factory features include the custom camper equipment package, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and dual fuel tanks. The exterior has been refinished in medium Bronze with a white cab and accented with body side moldings, woodgrain appliques and chrome bumpers. Modifications include a lengthening of the frame and cab and incorporating the full-size rear doors. Additional exterior features include dual spotlights, orange cab lights and supplemental wiring as featured in the optional Custom Camper package. A 2-inch suspension lift with Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks make room for the 16-inch wheels wearing a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires. The color-matched bed is lined with stained wood planking. The body-colored cab features Sierra Grande trim and is equipped with bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl. The trim package also included a deluxe instrument panel and treatments to the door panels, headliner and steering wheel. Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer, an optional tachometer and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure and fuel level.
