Details
'Thunderstruck' was the name given to this 1970 Ford Thunderbird custom coupe, built for SEMA 2015 by Eddie’s Rods and Customs of Pueblo West, CO. It is powered by a recently rebuilt Ford 429ci V8 big-block engine mated to an automatic transmission. The entire engine bay has been painted to match the exterior. It has been modified with the front end of a 1967 Thunderbird with the flip-down headlights. The hood has also been lengthened approximately 12”. The builders opted to use the interior from the 1967 as well, and wrapped it in Brilliant White leather. This car rides on adjustable-height air suspension controlled from the dashboard. The custom stereo is by Al’s Creative Auto Sound, and the original design by Steve Stanford will come with the original framed renderings. “Thunderstruck” has been featured in several automotive blogs. From The Vault Portfolio.
