The rust-free exterior contains a concours quality repaint of the original Ford Medium Bright Blue metallic with black hood stripe option. All Mach 1 equipment is in place. This includes the unique gas cap and taillight panel, correct '70 rolled exhaust tips with aluminized exhaust system, the pot metal side mouldings and grille-mounted fog lamps. Original Ford bumpers have been re-chromed, all stainless trim polished and all tinted glass is date coded new and Ford script headlights have even
been installed. Options include Ram Air with original trim ring and sport slats. Added factory options include front and rear spoilers and non-correct 14' chrome Magnum 500 wheels with correct small hole center caprs and 'no tire size' Goodyear Polyglas tires. The totally restored interior is the correct Ford black Mach 1 interior 3A Code with all Mach 1 appointments. The deluxe door panels were refinished, the dash bezels fully restored, including re-chroming and new lenses and the seatbelts restored with date coded tags. Correct Hurst 4-speed shifter with T-handle installed. Options include the ultra rare and expensive AM/FM radio and factory tachometer. The mileage is 81,368 miles. The finely detailed trunk compartment contains a quality trunk mat with correct Goodyear Polyglas spare and standard steel rim with original jack equipment. The concours restored engine compartment has the matching numbers 428 Cobra Jet engine, freshly rebuilt and 4-speed Top Loader transmission. All the rare and hard to find '70 Cobra Jet equipment is in place. This includes an original Shaker assembly with snorkel and heatshield, ultra rare concours restored D0ZE-A 4-speed Holley carburetor, aluminum valve covers, dual-point Autolite distributor restored with X6 dual diaphragm, unique '70 throttle bracket, PCV system with spacer, correct intake fittings, heater tubes and fan. The pulleys, radiator, exhaust manifolds, water pump and alternator are correct. Autolite reproduction was used throughout. The only option is power steering. This beautiful concours restored '70 Cobra Jet Mach 1 is one of only 1,371 4-speeds built. The restoration was targeted to MCA Concours Trailer standards, the highest level in the hobby. No details were overlooked. Included are the Eminger Report, Marti Report and Window Sticker.
