Details
This 1970 Challenger has been restored but started life with a 340ci V8 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. For improved performance it has been upgraded with a period-correct 426ci Chrysler HEMI V8 engine, casting number date: 01/19/70, with dual 4-barrel carburetors, power steering and a new high-performance center-forced clutch assembly. It was restored to its original Sublime Green paint color. The transmission is a period-correct heavy-duty A833 4-speed manual transmission with 4-inch input bearing. It has a Dana 60 posi-traction rear end with 3.54 gear ratio. It sits on 15-inch Rally wheels wrapped with new tires. All-new brakes have been installed, including emergency brake cables. The interior has a new center console and carpet with the original high-back bucket seats.
