This custom supercharged HEMI-powered 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible underwent a 4-year extensive restoration built at the Superior Hot Rod Shop by Bill Dickinson. Altercations were done to the firewall, floor pans and body panels to accept the upgraded supercharged Kenne Bell 6.1-liter HEMI programmed engine, with an original new-age Dodge Computer System. This custom-built engine includes a Mammoth throttle-body fuel-injection system and a custom hand-built fresh cold-air intake. It is backed by a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch pressure plate with a dual-clutch pack and a balanced drive line, including a loop to a 3.90 posi-traction 8:75 Dutchman Harden axles 4-link coilover rear end. The front suspension built by RMS Altercations features RallySport rack & pinion steering with a complete Lynx rear-tuned suspension. Additionally, the Hotchkis subframe connects to a bumper-to-bumper box tube framing. This Challenger rolls on 18-inch American Racing wheels on the front with a special offset 20-inch in the rear combined line lock with Wilwood disc brakes. The special-built and designed interior features a G-Force seating and belt system with Vintage Air, carbon AutoMeter gauge cluster with push-button start tied in with the Pioneer Ultra Blast stereo system. Finally, it is fitted with a custom, one-off new Challenger front headlight assembly.
