This highly optioned 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is documented by GM of Canada. This is car #2 of 3 cars built by Chevrolet exclusively for the Canadian-American race (Can Am) to be held in Canada. There were three cars produced by GM for the series, all three were white with black stripes and a red interior. All three cars were powered by a 454ci LS5 engine. This car was subjected to an extensive detailed rotisserie restoration to meet concours judging standards. It is powered by its original matching-numbers 454/360hp engine mated to an original automatic transmission and is refinished in its correct Classic White with black sport stripes and a red bucket-seat interior. This Chevelle has been subjected to a high-quality concours-quality restoration but retains its original powertrain.
