This 1970 Chevelle was built in California as indicated by the VIN. Astro Blue base coat/clear coat. Starting with rotisserie frame-off process, this car has been completely and meticulously restored. All sheet metal is original except for the hood and one floor pan piece. The motor is a 454cid block, 4-bolt main, CE replacement with a 512 casting number, which is correct for this car. It has been completely rebuilt with all the best parts including a forged steel crank, dimpled rods, 10:1 comp
with forged aluminum pistons. The motor has been balanced and is pump gas friendly with correct oval port heads, an HYD cam with a Rochester Quadra Jet 4 barrel carburetor, and a completely rebuilt 400 turbo transmission with a new converter and fly wheel. Completed with a chambered exhaust system, a new fuel tank and sender, all stainless steel fuel and brake lines and all new suspension. The 12-bolt rear end has been reworked with all new bearings and seals, new axles and wheel cylinders with an original 3.31 posi. All new legendary interior with new foam seat cushions, all new power window motors, all new tachometer and gauges. It has a new front windshield and original side glass, all new weather stripping and rubber seals. Special options include power windows, tilt steering, 3-spoke wheel, map light, power trunk release, factory look AM/FM radio with iPod hook up.
