This 1970 Chevrolet C-10 was built for three-time PGA Tour Winner Scott Piercy of Las Vegas. It was recently restored and customized to what you see now. It was thoroughly gone through and built properly by TC Auto Designs in Las Vegas. The exterior of the truck was a rust-free California truck to begin with. It was completely disassembled and soda-blasted. The entire truck was smoothed out, painted in a custom patina finish and received multiple coats of Glasurit matte clear coat. There are hints of black, 'rust' and white colors showing through the metallic blue paint in areas a truck would commonly show natural patina. The bottom of the cab and inside all fenders are finished in a durable undercoating for a clean look and rust prevention. The suspension is fully adjustable, thanks to an Air Ride suspension. It features drop spindles up front, a custom fabricated crossmember for the rear air springs and a C-notch in rear to give it its proper raked stance. All new shocks were installed at all four corners. All of the suspension components received new bushings, ball joints, etc. The frame and all suspension components were also finished in a gloss black paint to ensure durability and a detailed look. The Air Ride suspension is controlled by four switches in the cab, and feature gauges to monitor air pressure for ease of operation. The air springs receive their air supply from a Viair air compressor and an air tank, both located under the bed. The truck features a recently rebuilt Chevrolet 350. While being rebuilt, a mild cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor were installed. The engine block and accessories were painted in a custom mix of red and finished in a gloss clear coat. Chrome long tube headers help exhaust gasses flow through the Flowmaster mufflers and exit before the rear axle. The 350 is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission featuring a Hurst Indy 500 shifter. The engine bay, core support, inner fenders and firewall have all been finished in gloss blue to give the vehicle some contrast and protection. The bed of the truck features vintage wood bed slats to complement the patina theme of the truck. The factory taillights were removed and replaced with custom chrome units. The interior of the truck features a custom upholstered seat, custom door panels, as well as a new carpet kit and freshly upholstered dash pad. Equus white-faced illuminated gauges present battery voltage, temperature, fuel level and oil pressure to the driver. A Vintage 3' tachometer was installed on the steering column. The doors feature the worn patina look to match the exterior, while the dash, roof, A and B-pillars are finished in a gloss finish to give the interior some contrast.
