Taken care of by the same owner for last 40 years, there are no others like it. This car underwent a complete tear down to block to confirm. It has no cylinder-wall wear, no ridges, original Ford 10.7:1 aluminum high-compression pistons. The valves were checked and in outstanding condition with Ford stamping. It has a stock cam, valvetrain, crankshaft and original Shelby aluminum high-rise intake manifold. A complete engine overhaul performed with new seals, hoses, gaskets, timing chain,
alternator, coil wires, clutch linkage, new front and rear brakes and front rotors. This 351ci engined 4-speed stock-from-factory features the Autolite 4-barrel said to give this car 290hp at 385 ft/lbs of torque. The factory roll bar and harness were placed for that added horsepower. This Gulf Stream Aqua Blue was furnished with the following factory options: 4-speed wide-ratio manual transmission, Trac-Lok differential with 3.25 gears, visibility group, sport deck rear seat, power front disc brakes, power steering, AM radio, tinted glass, deluxe belts and still to this day, fully functioning tachometer and trip odometer.
