In the Pontiac world, some of the most desirable GTOs to own are those with the Ram Air IV engine. This car is one of 549 Ram Air IV GTO hardtops built with the 4-speed transmission. It was built on 6/16/1969 and shipped to Canada, where it remained for many years. This particular car was purpose ordered with not only the Ram Air IV engine and close-ratio 4-speed, with an HD Safe-T-Track rear axle and 4.33:1 gears. It was quite the street racer in Western Canada in the day. Sadly, the original
engine block was destroyed early on. However, a correct replacement block was installed at the dealer. Several years ago this car received a complete body-off, nut and bolt restoration. The car was completely disassembled for restoration. A fresh coat of the popular Verdoro Green paint was applied and the complete interior was redone. The Ram Air IV engine and all components were rebuilt to factory specs, along with the other components in the drivetrain. This car has all the right stuff for the fussy GTO or muscle car collector. It comes with a complete set of the PHS paperwork and Pontiac Window Sticker.
