Details
One of 750 cars specially built to meet the homologation standards required to compete in the NASCAR championship series for 1969. This car was an excellent, unmolested example that had been in the care of a long-term California owner from 1971 to 2009. It was purchased new in California and lived there for 40 years. The current owner relocated the car to Texas and has completed and documented a high quality restoration using many NOS parts. A full rotisserie restoration was done to the best of
standards. The original panels showed no accident damage or need of replacement. The complete drivetrain proved to have matching numbers and correct date codes. A photo log of the date codes, number stampings and a Marti Report documenting the validity of the car are available. This car has been road tested and driven about 100 miles since the completion of the restoration and performed well.
