This stunning Marina Blue Nova has been customized to showcase the very best of what a high-performance Resto-Mod Nova can be. Starting with a complete frame-off restoration in 2009, the car was built by the current service manager for the Hendrick Heritage Collection and documented with a build book including receipts and parts manuals. This car is powered by a hand-built 496cid V8 with Brodix heads and intake manifold, producing over 750hp at the crank. Already completely set up for a
thrilling driving experience, this car has all the right components to be a very fast ride. From the complete Heidts front end with modern A-arms, coilovers, sway bar, and power rack & pinion steering, to the Detroit Speed rear suspension set up with a mini-tub modification to hold the wide 17' Billet Specialties wheels and 12' Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. Other notable components include a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a reverse manual valve body, a 12-bolt rear with Auburn posi-traction and 4.10 gears, custom hood and an AM/FM/CD sound system. With custom features such as a roll cage, subframe connectors, a 3,400 RPM stall-speed converter, Cheetah shifter and air conditioning to keep you cool under pressure, this Nova is the ultimate blend of a street/strip cruiser.
