This 1969 L88 Corvette is the lowest documented mileage 1969 Corvette known to exist. A rare example of a factory equipped 427cid/430hp L88 engine is one of only 116 L88's built. Factory equipped with an M-22 heavy duty 4 speed transmission, one of only 101 built, J-56 heavy duty power brakes and F-41 heavy duty suspension are standard. Factory 4:56 rear ratio one of only 10 built. This vehicle still maintains an original factory off road exhaust system. This vehicle has spent many years of its life on display at the famous Gilmore Classic Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Selected in 1988 for the Bloomington Gold Special Collection. Referred to as 'Earthquake 88', due to the roar of the engines of the L88 cars. This Corvette was inducted into the Bloomington Gold Hall of Fame in 1998. Selected again for the 2003, 50th Anniversary Corvette Celebration, the car was part of the special collection that year. Bloomington Gold certified 2003 and NCRS Top Flight 2005.
