Nice rust-free driver was given a five-year, full nut and bolt restoration. Has a custom-built 500hp 502 with Scat Performance stroker kit, H-beam rods, forged SRP pistons, Melling oil pump, Comp Cams XR 282 Xtreme roller cam and roller rocker arms. Edelbrock aluminum heads, GM Performance Ram Jet fuel injection, narrowed fuel tank and fuel pump from tanks. Sanderson headers, Billet Specialties polished belt drive system, MSD ignition box, 2-1/2' exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Centerforce
heavy-duty clutch set and flywheel. Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission and GM 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with Richmond 3.73 gears. Big brake kit from CPP, 13' front and 12' rear slotted and drilled rotors. Tubular A-arms, Pro-Shock coilover set up with Unisteer power rack & pinion steering. Aluminum radiator with dual fans from Portel Radiators. Body modifications include deleted side marker and emblems, gas filler moved to center of rear panel, exhaust coves in rear valance, custom fender vents, carbon fiber treatment to the rear spoiler, rear view mirrors and fender scoops. Bumpers are smoothed and fitted and matched to body color. Car was painted with Dupont Phantom Black and Candy Orange trim. Interior is custom-built and covered with black Ultraleather. Front seats and center console are from a newer Firebird. Instrument panel is custom one-off with carbon fiber treatment and filled with Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges. Sound system is Pioneer multi-media system with touchscreen controls with backup camera. Climate control is Vintage Air Gen II unit. The car has keyless entry, power windows, door locks and tilt steering column. Stainless steel fasteners were used throughout the build. It has Intro Phantom wheels and Uniroyal tires. The car has less than 100 miles since completion.
