Details
Z11 RS/SS Indianapolis 500 pace car, 350cid 4-speed. Autographed by Mario Andretti, the winner of the Indianapolis 500. This is a great piece of history. This car has the proper numbers and cowl tag plate to verify it as an original pace car. It is one of 3,675 produced under the production pace car code Z11. It was built at the Norwood, Ohio plant in the 4th week of March, 1969. The same time as those used at the race. The engine was replaced in the early 1970's with another Chevrolet 350. The
transmission is the original Muncie 4 speed with Hurst shifter and linkage and the original 12-bolt Posi-traction rear. This car has been under the same ownership for the last 14 years. A great piece of Camaro and Indy history.
