Details
This car is an RS/SS with the original 350cid engine and automatic transmission. Matching numbers and unrestored down to the original top and paint. The car was purchased from the original owner. He bought the car on December 18, 1969 from the showroom floor of Short Brothers Chevrolet in Owensboro, KY. The rear deck spoiler still has the original Short Brother dealer sticker attached. Mr. Roby drove the car about 17,000 miles in the first four years he owned the car. After that, he only drove
the car on special occasions with his daughter. He gave the car to his son when he graduated from college. His son never drove the car because it was so nice and he didn't want anything to happen to it. It was kept in a temperature controlled environment and was then purchased by the current owner about five years ago. Full documentation included the dealer invoice, Bill of Sale, dealer check out sheet, original keys with knock outs and Kentucky vehicle inspections that verify the miles. This car is an incredible survivor. 27,000 original miles.
