1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO INDY PACE CAR CONVERTIBLE

Celebrate 100 years of Indy 500 racing with a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Z11 Indianapolis pace car convertible. This is a pace car, as noted on the cowl tag that states the Z11 option. This also notes this car was built in the Norwood plant. This is a mostly original car, having undergone a mild cosmetic restoration in the past, with a high quality repaint. The interior remains mostly original and in excellent condition. The car was optioned from the factory with a 350 and Turbo Hydramatic

automatic transmission, both of which remain and are original to the car. It was also delivered with power steering, power disc brakes, power top and center console, as well as all the Z11 specific options such as front and rear spoilers, Cowl Induction hood, etc. This is a beautiful example that runs and drives great. Correct Dover White with Hugger Orange stripes and orange houndstooth interior, all of which are in outstanding condition. The white power top is in excellent condition, as is the plastic rear window and the power top functions properly. All chrome and brightwork is in very good condition. With the exception of Goodyear radials, the car is correct in just about every way possible. A very welcome addition to any collection, or any garage.
