You are viewing a spectacular 9737 COPO sports car re-creation. No expense was spared with this restoration. If you have not seen this Camaro, please step up and check it out. The body has been completely restored and it is arrow-straight. Originally this Camaro was an X-44 car. It has been painted in a two-stage Olympic Gold paint which is the original color. The paint is spectacular quality. All of the chrome, trim, glass, vinyl top and lenses are in show condition. This Camaro has the rear
spoiler and Goodyear Polyglas F70-15' tires mounted on Rally wheels to complete the exterior. The black standard, Code '711', interior is all completely restored. This interior features bucket seats, console and gauges, 140 mph speedometer, power steering and radio delete plate. Without a doubt this interior is in showroom condition and everything works. This interior competed at the 2008 ISCA Houston Autorama. Under the hood is a spectacular engine compartment that is home to the freshly built 427cid engine complete with a set of L89 aluminum heads, aluminum intake, distributor and a 800cfm carburetor. This Camaro is equipped with a complete smog system. This 427 is estimated to produce 450+hp. The transmission is a fresh M40 Turbo 400 and the rear end is the 12-bolt posi-traction spinning 4.56 gears. The undercarriage, suspension, brakes and fuel system are all restored to new condition. You may think this car is a trailer queen but it is not. This Camaro competed for Best in Class at the 2008 Houston Autorama.
